A recent rash of theft from vehicle cases in Dawson Creek have RCMP there putting out a few friendly reminders to motorists. They say you should always lock your vehicle when leaving it unattended, and never keep any valuables in it, or make sure they are well hidden if you absolutely have to leave something in your car. A total of five theft from vehicle cases were reported between Friday and Monday, with items like wallets, purses, and cell phones being stolen. In four of the cases, the cars were left unlocked by the owner. Anyone with info on these cases are asked to call the Dawson Creek detachment.
