Three men rob convenience store in Patterson

UPDATE: Corrected to say Wednesday morning, not afternoon. We regret the error.

A convenience store in the Patterson area was robbed Wednesday morning and police are on the search for three suspects. The trio of men had their faces covered as they held up the shop near Patterson Drive and 84th Avenue around 2:20 a.m. One man held a knife out while he made the clerk give him cash.

The worker wasn’t hurt, but the men made off with the money and packages of cigarettes. They were last seen heading east, but officers and Police Dog Services weren’t able to find them.

The first suspect was wearing dark clothing, white shoes, gloves and a white piece of clothing over his face. The second wore light coloured jeans, gloves, and a dark coloured back pack, and covered his face with a red piece of clothing. The third’s face had a greyish piece of clothing over it, and he wore dark coloured pants, a red long sleeve coat, and a striped green, red, and yellow toque.
