Yard waste curbside pickup starts in April

Aquatera will start picking up yard waste on your curbside starting on April 1st. To help with spring cleaning, they will pick up any garbage from your yard as long as it is in a transparent bag and it is at least 1 metre from your garbage bin.

It also has to be less than 20 kilograms in weight. Bundles of branches can be put next to the bags but they cannot be any longer than 1 meter and no wider than half a meter.

The summer hours for both the Eco Centre and Waste Management Facility also begin on April 1st. This means 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for garbage drop off seven days a week and recycling drop off from Monday to Saturday at 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
