Crews are getting back to work on construction of the 68th Avenue bridge today. The Bear Creek trail underneath it will be closed, but otherwise traffic shouldn’t expect many delays.
The $6.4 million project got underway in February 2016 but heavy rains last summer set work back. Over the winter, only the old part of the bridge could be used by traffic.
The rest of the 68th Avenue twinning is also behind schedule, and another $370,000 was recently added to its budget. Work will start back up on that this spring.
