Thieves break in to Aurora Eye Care

Grande Prairie RCMP are looking into a break and enter at a local optometrist’s office. Aurora Eye Care says some time between 2 and 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, the clinic was broken into by someone who smashed their front window.

Some sunglasses were stolen, and staff are asking people to keep their eyes open on social media pages. They should be especially wary if they see a pair with the tag still on it or that doesn’t come with a case.

Corporal Shawn Graham says police were called to Cobblestone Plaza around 3 a.m. but couldn’t find the person or people responsible. They’re now looking at surveillance footage, but ask anyone who saw something suspicious around that time to report it.
