Only Alberta flu death last week was in northern Alberta

The death toll from the flu in northern Alberta has risen to six. One more person died from the disease in the past week, bringing the total province-wide since August to 50.

351 people in Alberta Heath Services north zone have had lab-confirmed cases, and 92 have had to go to the hospital. What communities are hardest hit isn’t released, but the north zone had the only death last week.
