County road ban back in place Wednesday

The County of Grande Prairie is bringing back a road ban. Starting Wednesday, all gravel roads will be at 75 per cent axle weight from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. That will stay in place until further notice to protect the roads during the spring thaw.

The City of Grande Prairie has had a ban on their gravel roads since mid-February, down to 50 per cent axle weight. A parking ban on all permanent snow routes is also still in place.
