The Grande Prairie Women’s Residence Association is asking the public to help them name their new Supportive Housing building. Ideas are now being accepted through the Odyssey House Facebook page until September 30th, with the winning name for the building being announced in November. Construction started recently on the Supportive Housing Building, which will provide safe, affordable, and long term housing and programming for women and children recovering from an abusive relationship. It’s the next step for women and children that have already stayed at Odyssey House for their maximum 21 day length.
