Four arrested after stolen property found in vehicle

RCMP have arrested a group of people they believe have been stealing from places around High Prairie for the past several months. Sergeant George Cameron says they’d been targeting private property, but he hasn’t heard about any break and enters to homes.

A pile of stolen things were found in a vehicle, leading to the arrest of four suspects on February 28th. They’re now facing several charges related to the stolen property, drugs, and traffic offences. Cameron adds that tips from the public helped in the investigation.

“Our members did a fantastic job finding those responsible for these crimes,” says Sgt. Cameron. “High Prairie RCMP will continue to work with our partners to ensure our community is safe.”

21 year old Muriel Paige Gladue of Peace River, 27 year old Joseph Douglas Campbell of High Prairie, and 19 year old Dorian Anakian Harvey of Valleyview are all in police custody with a court appearance set for Monday. 36 year old Leslie Michael Auger of High Prairie has been released and will be back in court on March 20th.
