Ground to be broken later this month on Clairmont Skate Park

June 21st is a big day for the Clairmont and District Ag Society Community Adventure Park. Project lead Leanne Braybrook says ground will be broken that afternoon for the skate park portiion of the project.
“We will be getting the equipment in July. We are hoping to have the entire skatepark completed sometime this summer for the kids in Clairmont to enjoy.”
The ground breaking will be part of the first annual “Makin A Splash” event, which includes an evening barbecue and dance, along with prize draws, auctions and 50/50 draws. It’s a fundraiser for phase two of the project, which is a splash park.
