County doing property re-inspections in March

Properties in La Glace, Dimsdale, Wembley and Hythe will be getting their properties re-inspected starting next week. Assessors come around on a five year cycle to see if the market value of a property has changed.

CAO Bill Rogan says the County has to make sure all records are up to date, but not all properties will get a visit as they were re-inspected recently or nothing has drastically changed. Properties in Townships 70 to 62 of Range 7 and 70 to 75 of Range 8 will also be getting a look over.

Assessors will be going door-to-door during regular business hours starting on March 1st. Residents don’t need to be home at the time, but if they are, County staff will be properly identified.
