Another attempt at snow angel record

You could be part of a world record breaking event this weekend at Nitehawk Year Round Adventure Park. The Canadian Ski Patrol are looking to attempt to break the snow angel record again this year. Assistant Manager Johnathon Clarkson says they tried to break the record last year but they fell short.

“The most snow angels at this point is around 19,000 and that is across the country. That is the record we are attempting to break. Last year, they made it to about 16,500. We are trying to help with that and maybe get a few more people out here.”

Clarkson says it isn’t just about breaking the record but also about family.

“We had so many parents bring their kids here last year and we got so many great pictures.”

The angels are counted at 11:00 am sharp across the country and this means that everyone who plans to participate needs to be at the chalet by 10:30 am on Saturday.
