There are two days left to nominate your favourite amateur athlete, coach, volunteer or supportive corporation for a Northwest Alberta Sport Excellence Award. The third annual ceremony will be hosted by the Grande Prairie Sport Council and Alberta Sport Development Centre on March 10th.
They’re held each year to recognize the region’s biggest champions of sport. That includes athletes and the people who support them.
Nominations can be made online at gpsportcouncil.ca until the end of the day Tuesday.
