Water is finally back on in the hamlet of Ridgevalley. A water main originally broke sometime Monday, and the temporary fix did not hold.
Crews have done a full replacement, and an outage scheduled for Saturday is no longer needed. Residents are asked to run their taps until the water is clear before using it.
Classes at Ridgevalley School have been cancelled since Tuesday, but the facility will reopen Friday.
