Grande Prairie Telus employees are working hard at Safety City today, volunteering as part of the company’s annual Day of Giving.
Senior Communications Manager Chris Gerritsen explains it’s a way for them to give back to and connect with the community.
“It happens across Canada where Telus team members across the country get together and volunteer at the activity of their choice in their communities, in an effort to make a positive, heartfelt, and long-lasting connection with the community.”
They’ll be helping with weeding and cleaning their mini-jeeps, as well as removing carpet and building storage closets in the Safety Resource Centre.
This is the ninth annual Telus Day of Giving.
