GoFundMe for Grande Prairie man exceeding expectations

A Gofundme page set up for a Grande Prairie man is seeing more results than expected. Tina Kenyon set up the crowdfunding page to help her brother Jason Anderson who is suffering from brain cancer. Within one day, the GoFundMe made over $30,000 dollars. Kenyon says she has been overwhelmed with support and the donations.

“It’s crazy. The people who don’t even know my brother have stepped, it’s great!”

The account now sits at over $45,000 but the goal has been raised to $60,000.

“It is unbelievable. It has given my brother a whole new level of kicking this thing’s you know what.”

The fund will be used to send Jason to Mexico in order to receive special treatment for a tumor that he has been battling on and off for 13 years.

You can donate on the GoFundMe page.
