Grande Prairie RCMP have helped capture a man accused of murdering a woman in Edmonton last year. 49 year old Shane Elson Lambert was found and arrested on January 16th.
He’s been charged with the second degree murder of 42 year old Lisa Kristine Randhawa. Her body was found at an apartment in Edmonton on March 28th, 2016. An autopsy showed she died from trauma, and her death was ruled a homicide.
Randhawa was the sixth of six homicide victims found in just five days in Edmonton in March 2016. Lambert was taken back to Edmonton on Wednesday and is in police custody.
