Fort St. John Scotiabank robbed by another armed man

A bank in Fort St. John has been robbed for the second time in four months. The Scotiabank on 100th Street was held up by a man with what looked like a black handgun around 4:30 Monday afternoon.

RCMP say he ran out the back door and down an alley. He was seen running past a local shelter and may have gotten into a small black SUV-looking vehicle.

Witnesses say the suspect was wearing a black balaclava over his face and blue safety gear with reflective stripes. Anyone who may have seen someone matching that description running in the area is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

The same bank was hit by an armed robber on September 23rd, 2016.
