Holiday waste welcome with curbside recycling

Unwrapping gifts will leave your household with some extra garbage over the holidays. Aquatera’s curbside collection schedule will have no changes but they ask for your blue bags to be out before 7:00 am to avoid being missed on your day for pick up.

In your blue bag you can include wrapping paper, boxes that toys come in, plastic vegetable trays and condiment containers. Cardboard from new large electronics or appliances will also be accepted as long as they are broken down a size of 2 by 3 feet.

Styrofoam is not accepted in the bags but can be dropped off at the Eco Centre when they open back up on the 27th.
