Only a couple more days to go in the Kettle Campaign and the Salvation Army is looking for help in reaching their goal. They have just over $100,000 to raise in order to reach their goal of $430,000. Lieutenant Peter Kim says in his first year in Grande Prairie, he is hoping they can reach the goal to make it successful.
“I am learning how this community works. It is what I call a pressure prompted community or last minute community. I hope people will pull through and they have been doing that. I am a little more confident now.”
They are also looking for volunteers for their last few bell ringing shifts on Christmas Eve. Kim says these are the hardest ones to fill.
