UDPATE: Two stabbed in Peace River

UPDATE: RCMP have clarified that the stabbing happened outside of the McNamara Liquor Store and the injured men went there for help.

Peace Regional RCMP are looking for a man accused of stabbing two others at a liquor store over the weekend. RCMP responded to the McNamara Liquor Store in Peace River around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

They found two men with stab wounds, who were taken care of by people at the scene until officers and EMS arrived. The 34 year old from Beaumont and 29 year old from North Sydney, Nova Scotia were taken to hospital in Edmonton and Grande Prairie, and are reportedly in stable condition. They remain in hospital.

Anyone who was at the store at the time is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers. The suspect is described as roughly 6 feet tall and skinny, with blonde hair under a black ball cap. He was with a blonde woman believed to be his girlfriend.
