UPDATE: Power back on for Clairmont and Kleskun Hill areas

UPDATE: ATCO says most areas in the Clairmont and Kleskun Hills area should have power back on.

ATCO Electric is currently responding to multiple reports of power outages in the Clairmont and Kleskun Hill areas. No word yet on how many people are affected or what caused the power to go down, but the wind in the region has been gusting up to 69 kilometres an hour this afternoon.

104.7 2day FM’s transmitter is a part of the blackout and the station is currently off the air. You can still stream online at mygrandeprairienow.com or using the 2day FM Commotion app. We thank you for your patience and will update when we learn more.
