Grande Prairie man sentenced for stabbing in Edmonton

A Grande Prairie man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter. According to Global Edmonton, 26 year old Justin Kenneth Sandquist will go to jail for his connection in the death of 25 year old Aaron Cote.

Sandquist was originally charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing of Cote in 2013 but plead guilty to the lesser charge. Cote died from stab wounds in a Travelodge parking lot in Edmonton in December three years ago.
