Ford F-350 most stolen vehicle in 2016

The 2007 Ford F-350 Super Duty 4WD was the most stolen vehicle in western Canada in 2016. Both the F-250 and F-350 truck were on the Insurance Bureau of Canada top ten list of Most Frequently Stolen Vehicles but the 2007 model landed at the top.

The truck was the only vehicle type to appear on the list of 10 vehicles. Across Canada, the 2007 Ford F-350 was also at the top of the list.

This is the second year in a row that vehicle theft has increased across the country with Alberta having the biggest increase at 32 per cent.

Vice-President with IBC for the the Western and Pacific Bill Adams says to avoid being targeted, there are things you can do. He recommends not leaving your vehicle running without you near, parking in lit areas, put valuables in the trunk, and keep your car in the garage at night.
