Charges have been laid against two people after a pile of stolen vehicles was found in Richmond Hill Estates. 30 year old Tara MacDonald and 32 year old Justin Murphy of Grande Prairie are each charged with several counts of possession of property obtained by crime over and under $5,000, as well as for the purpose of trafficking.
A search warrant was executed at the property west of the Grande Prairie Airport on November 22nd after police heard there may be stolen vehicles. 18 vehicles were found, including eight motorcycles, three trailers and a snowmobile.
MacDonald has been released with conditions, while Murphy remains in custody. They’ll be back in court on December 14th.
