While the parade was delayed for about an hour, the rain made way for sunshine just in time for the 2014 Stompede Parade last night.
The rodeo, along with all WCA and WPCA racing, gets underway this evening.
The Canadian Chili Showdown was supposed to be held last night as well, but had to be postponed because of the weather.
A new date has yet to be announced.
