Last day for early bird Cars for Christmas lottery tickets

The cut off for getting tickets for the Swan City Rotary Club Cars For Christmas Lottery early bird is at midnight tonight. This is the first of the 17 years that this fundraiser has offered an early bird prize. The winners will be announced on December 2nd with 5 people receiving a $1000 prize and 1 person getting a $10,000 prize. Lottery Manager Jessie says you can feel good about getting a ticket for the lottery.

“We have eleven groups that are going to be receiving funds from the lottery this year. There are a variety of groups that do a variety of different things. One of those groups is Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue. They will use the proceeds to care for animals at their shelter.”

The regular tickets are still on sale and include a scratch ticket with each one. There is $30,000 worth of scratch money available to win. The final draw will be done on January 4th with the deadline set at 9 pm on December 29th. There are 516 prizes to win this year.

Tickets are available at carsforchristmas.com or at the kiosk near the old Target location in the Prairie Mall.
