ATV drivers reminded to stay clear of crops

If you are driving an off-road vehicle, be mindful of farmers’ crops. It has been a wet growing and harvest season in the County of Grande Prairie and some yield has not made it off before the snow has fallen. There are still some crops covered up that are worth money but they can be ruined if people drive over them with recreation vehicles or snow machines.

County Agriculture Fieldman Sonja Raven reminds people to respect private land when taking out the snowmobile for a spin. They would also like to remind riders and residents that private land can only be used when the owner says it is okay, no matter what time of year it is.
