RCMP have found a substantial amount of illegal drugs at two homes in Valleyview. A search Friday turned up more than 40 grams each of cocaine and meth, as well as crack cocaine and marijuana.
Along with the drugs, officers found drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, cash and a prohibited firearm.
Five people from Valleyview have been arrested and are facing several drug charges. They include 37 year old Brent Garton, 35 year old Bonnie Kinsella, 26 year old Maraya Badger, Sara Dixon, and 48 year old Francine Whitely. Whitely is also facing a charge connected to the prohibited gun.
All five will make their first appearances in Valleyview Provincial Court on December 1st.
