UPDATE: Peace region fog advisory ends

UPDATE: Environment Canada has ended the fog advisory for the peace region.

A fog advisory has been issued for the Peace region. Near zero visibility is expected in the Grande Prairie, Peace River, and Whitecourt areas.

Environment Canada is forecasting thick fog with some freezing drizzle over parts of Alberta and western Saskatchewan. The fog is expected to lift to low clouds on Monday.

In addition to making it hard to see, slippery sections on roads will also make driving more dangerous. If visibility is reduce, turn on your lights and keep a safe distance.
