Festival of Trees hospital fundraiser kicks off 28th year

The Festival of Trees opens to the public today and goes through the weekend. The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation fundraiser kicked off today at 10:00 am. In conjunction with the three day event, the Mistletoe Mixer is held Friday at 7:30 pm. The tickets are sold out for that event but there is other activities to participate in.

A new event has been added to the festival. The Peter Pan Pajama Party will go Saturday night while the Teddy Bear Breakfast returns on Sunday, November 27th.

This is the 28th year that the event has been raising money for the local hospital. There is also the Kids Secret Shop & Gift Shop, Teddy Bear Hospital, Miniature Tree Land, Children’s World, Gingerbread Train, and Candy Shop as other highlights of the event.

The event runs Friday November 25th to the 27th at the Entrec Centre at Evergreen Park.
