Grande Prairie Jeep Club again collecting food bank donations

The Grande Prairie Jeep Club is back going door-to-door looking for donations to the local food bank. Keep a eye out for vehicles decorated in Christmas lights and decorations that will be out every weeknight from 6 to 9 p.m. until December 16th.

The off road club started their tour of the city in the Copperwood area Monday night, and should be working their way through Crystal Lake, Lakeland, and Trumpeter Village over the next couple of days.

Organizer Andrew Southern says they’ve already been blown away by the Swan City’s generosity, with one family even giving them hot chocolate for their trip. All of the non-perishable food items collected will be handed over to the Salvation Army once the city is covered.
