B.C. teachers strike keeps Fort St. John out of high school rugby final

The B.C. teachers strike has had an impact on the finals for the Peace Country High School Boys Rugby League.

Fort St John was slated to play the Comp Thursday night, but will not be able to do so now because of the strike.

Instead it will be St. Joe’s, who lost to Fort St John in the semis, that will face Comp in the final.

That game will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday night at the County Sportsplex.

The girls final goes at 5 between the Peace Wapiti Titans and Composite High School Warriors.
