Public meeting on potential for Grande Prairie performing arts centre tonight

Supporters of a performing arts and multimedia centre for the Grande Prairie region are encouraged to attend a public meeting on the topic tonight.

Grande Prairie Live Theatre general manager Wayne Ayling feels a facility like that would not only be for touring professional shows, but also community activities like dance recitals, live theatre, and conferences.

People from those groups are urged to attend the meeting at Second Street Theatre at 7:30 p.m.
