The War Amps address labels have begun to be mailed out to Alberta residences. The program works alongside the War Amps key tags initiative and both are sent out as a “thank you” to those who donate to the organization. James Jordan, the safety events coordinator for the War Amps, said the programs complement each other.
“It actually goes hand-in-hand with key tag service that is celebrating it’s 70th anniversary this year. The people who donate to the service will receive our address labels as a thank you for supporting our war amps key tags.”
The War Amps receives no government grants and it’s programs are possible through public support of the Key Tag and Address Label Service.
