The city has extended the submission deadline for their Live,Work, Play Here Photo and Video Contest, after noticing a glitch in the email account that kept people from making electronic submissions. June 20th is now the deadline to submit photos or videos that best capture the spirit of life in Grande Prairie. There are three photo categories – Live here, Work here, and Play here – with prizes being awarded for the best photo in each category. An overall best photo and best video prize will also be presented, with the city using the entries in their marketing and advertising campaigns. Entry forms can be found at www.cityofgp.com/photocontest.
