Help website launches for youth

A new website has been launched that aims to support youth in the Grande Prairie area. The initiative was created by Youth Advocate Mhairi Elliot with support from Peace Wapiti Academy. The site includes information on self-help options on how to get food or clothing as well as information on safe places to stay. There is also details for youth that need academic help or counselling services.

PWA covers the cost of the project. Elliot says she is happy about bringing the information together for youth in one location. gpyouth.ca was launched at the beginning of November.
