The AJHL will bring in a pair of rule changes when they drop the puck on the 2014-15 season this September. As is the case in the NHL and several other leagues, teams that ice the puck will not be allowed to complete a line change during the subsequent stoppage in play. The same will also happen for a team that directly puts the puck out of play in their own zone. The regular season is set to begin September 5th, although the final schedule will not be released until late June.
