There are once again two Remembrance Day ceremonies planned for Friday in Grande Prairie.
A service will be held indoors at Revolution Place starting at 10:45 a.m. Doors open to the public an hour ahead of time, and the event is free to attend.
The Army and Navy ceremony will be held outside at the Cenotaph in Jubilee Park. It will begin with a march from Trinity Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by a luncheon at the ANAVETS Community Centre on 93rd Street.
Elsewhere in the Peace Region, services will be held at the Sexsmith Civic Centre at 10 a.m., the Beaverlodge Community Centre at 10:30, and the Hythe Legion at 10:45.
