One of Grande Prairie Regional College’s most in demand programs will be offered online next year. Chair of the Nursing Education and Health Studies Department Deena Honan says the on-campus Unit Clerk program fills up quickly each semester.
It’s currently offered at the Grande Prairie campus, and will be online in February. The full-time program will take 20 weeks online, and teaches students how to manage the flow of information in health care fiels like hospital, health units and clinics. It also includes a five-week work practicum component as an opportunity to learn in real-world work settings.
Anyone interested in the program can find out more on GPRC’s website.
