Wanted man still on the lam

RCMP in Peace River are still on the hunt for a man wanted in connection with an incident late last month. It’s believed Malcolm Henry Testawits is in the Grimshaw, Peace River, Fairview and Hines Creek areas, but he’s also known to travel to Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Salmon Arm, B.C.

Testawits has several warrants out for his arrest, stemming from more than 30 charges. Police allege the 32 year old was part of an officer-involved shooting in the rural Fairview area on October 25th. He left in an unmarked police car that was later turned up.

Testawits is described as 5’9″, 146 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who thinks they recognize him should call 9-1-1 and not approach. He is previously charged with robbing a bank in Berwyn.
