Snowfall warning issued for Grande Prairie region

A snowfall warning has been issued for the Grande Prairie and Whitecourt regions. 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected to fall. Environment Canada says their radar shows sections of heavy snow across north central Alberta, leading to moderate build up.

The government warns that the rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult and could suddenly reduce visibility. If that’s the case, turn on your lights and follow at a safe distance.
