A 46 year man has died after being stabbed during a fight last month. The altercation happened at a home on the New Tallcree Reserve on September 18th.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries and a suspect was arrested nearby. The man later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on October 7th. His name has not been released.
42 year old Sheldon Lee Auger has been charged with second degree murder, after talks between Fort Vermillion RCMP and the Crown. He’s set to appear in court on Tuesday via CCTV.
