Calgary MLA Sandra Jansen enters PC leadership race

Calgary MLA Sandra Jansen is the latest to announce her intention to run for leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party. After a 25 year career in TV journalism, Jansen was hired as part of Allison Redford’s communications team in 2011. She was elected in Calgary-North in 2012.

Jansen joins four others in the race to replace former premier Jim Prentice. MLAs Richard Starke and Donna Kennedy Glans, Calgary lawyer Byron Nelson and former Calgary MP Jason Kenney will also be on the ballot.
