Traffic will continue to be detoured around 101st Avenue downtown because of a delay in construction.
The section of road between 100th and 102nd Street was set to open Sunday, October 2nd but due to weather over the weekend, there has been a delay. The new opening date is Thursday, October 6th.
Work is currently being done on underground infrastructure as part of the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project.
All the businesses in the downtown remain open during the construction with local parking allowed on 100th Avenue while work continues.
