The County Sportsplex will hold a special celebration this Saturday to mark the official opening of their eight outdoor playing fields. The event goes from 11:30 to 2, and will include bouncy castles, face painting, a barbecue, and a kids soccer scrimmage. The eight natural turf playing surfaces include two rugby pitches, two adult soccer fields, three junior soccer fields, and a combined soccer/football pitch. Admission to Saturday’s event is free, but donations will be accepted for KidSport.
