The 14th Annual Relay for Life will take place this weekend at Evergreen park. The Canadian Cancer Society’s fundraiser walk raises money every year for cancer research and community support services. Even if you are not already signed up, it isn’t too late. You can still sign up at relayforlife.ca or sign up during the event.
It kicks off tonight at 7:00 pm with registrations and check in at 5:00 pm. It will run until 7:00 am Saturday morning with opening ceremoney, survivors lap, luminary ceremony and closing ceremony.
Donations can be made at the Grande Prairie Canadian Cancer Society office up to two months following the event.
