The Grande Prairie Storm are throwing a party to celebrate their home opener this weekend. From 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Revolution Auto Group and Crystal Catering will be hosting a tailgate party in front of Revolution Place.
Fans can get a free burger before they watch the Storm take on the Drayton Valley Thunder. Puck drop is 7:30 as the home team looks for their first win of the regular season. They dropped both games last weekend in Fort McMurray and lost forward Zac McNeill on a five game suspension for a blow to the head.
A heads up for anyone who regularly uses the elevator at the arena: It is temporarily out of service, but wheelchair seating can still be found in section E.
