Unwanted pesticides and livestock medications being collected in the Peace region

If farmers have unwanted or outdated agricultural pesticides or livestock medications, they will be able to get rid of them this week.

Across the Peace region of Alberta and British Columbia, farmers can drop off their supplies for safe disposal. Product can be brought to Crop production Services in Fort St John or Dunvegan Ag Solutions today. On Thursday, Richardson Pioneer in Dawson Creek or Manning will be collecting the products. There will also be collection continuing on Friday at UFA in Fairview and Crop Production Services in High Prairie.

CleanFARMS, CropLife Canada and the Canadian Animal Health Institute partner for the program. CleanFARMS says they work to collect unused and obsolete products at no cost to farmers.
