The Small Business Week proclamation breakfast was held yesterday and along with that came the list of Grande Prairie Chamber of Commerce Awards nominees. Businesses are nominated in categories like Arts and Culture and Marketing. 2day FM was nominated in the Community Spirit category up against 5 other businesses in the area.
Now that the nominees are in place, voting can be done online on the chamber website that runs until September 30th. A portion of the overall evaluation will be comprised of the online vote and the remainder will be comprised of the selection committee.
The Grande Prairie Chamber Awards of Distinction will be handed out on October 19th at the Pomeroy Hotel and Conference Centre.
